About me

During my PhD, I investigated brain reorganization in Polish sign language hearing learners. After receiving my degree I continued the research of bimodal bilingualism and sign language processing in hearing and Deaf signers, focusing on the effects of age on language acquisition and proficiency. I am interested in combining neuroimaging methods such as fMRI with behavioural methods to learn about mechanisms that shape language development and how scientific results translate into educational practice. As a postdoc at the Laboratory of Language Neurobiology, I hope to contribute to a better understanding of individual differences in language development and the relationship between language skills, attention and social cognition in neurodiverse children.
I like to climb, listen to music and bike in my free time.
